Technology Evaluator (TE)
Clean Sky aims to achieve the goals set by ACARE SRA for the environment by developing and bringing new technologies to maturity. The Technology Evaluator is a transversal evaluation platform created to monitor the Programme progress towards the ACARE goals. The technology evaluation activities have been performed in a collaborative mode between the six ‘Integrated Technology Demonstrators’ (ITDs) and the ‘Technology Evaluator’ body. The TE was in charge to assess the environmental impact of the technologies developed by the ITDs, once integrated onto conceptual aircraft. In this way, the TE enables Clean Sky to measure and report the level of success in achieving the environmental objectives and its contribution towards the ACARE goals. The TE beneficiaries have disseminated their results by participating to conferences across Europe contributing to reach the target shown in the table.
The figure below shows the production of the papers during the course of the project. Clean Sky 2 is certain that further publications have been made after the closure of the project and for this it invites the authors to report their works.
Paper Production for Year
Most of these works were produced by Research Centers. This chart considers only the institution to which the first author of the paper belongs. However, it must be noted that more than 60% of TE Clean Sky papers involve more than one organization. This means that the participation of industry (SMEs have been included in this category) and research centers to the project dissemination is higher of that indicated in the picture below.
Paper for type of organisation
More than 72% of all dissemination occurred in Europe, around 16% in the United States and about 12% in the rest of the world, as shown in this figure where the number of papers for country are reported.
